There is an email circulating claiming to Introduce “Adobe Acrobat Reader 2012” 

The email is BOGUS and not from Adobe.  There is no such thing as “Adobe Reader 2012 – it IS a scam.

The email you receive will look something similar to this;

Sent: 5 December 2011 4:44 AM
To: youremail@youremailaddres

Adobe is pleased to announce new version upgrades for Adobe Acrobat Reader

A quick reminder for future reference..

As previously warned, ALWAYS be wary of any Upgrade Links sent to you via Email. 

To check the validity of any such notifications, go to the vendors website by typing in their address into your web browser manually and check to see if the download is available there. If you go to Adobe’s Website, you will find no reference about any Adobe Reader 2012 apart from warnings that it’s a phishing / scam email.
